How Much Should You Spend on Rent? A Uganda Rent Calculator Guide
Let your income and expenses guide you to the right rent budget. Here's how to calculate it for Kampala.
Uganda's rental market varies enormously — from UGX 200,000/month shared rooms in Nansana to UGX 5,000,000/month fully furnished apartments in Kololo. Knowing how much you can afford prevents heartbreak.

Hidden Costs
Water, UMEME electricity, internet, service charges, and garbage collection are often not included in the quoted rent. Always ask what's covered.
